New Moon in Aquarius

1/24/2020 New Moon at 4 degrees of Aquarius

​This New Moon holding hands with the Sun and making a 90 degree square to Uranus in Taurus affords us the opportunity to break free of self-imposed limitations – a mutiny of sorts.  Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, who would cover the Earth each night to mate with Gaia.  Their children were THE first 6 Titans.  The youngest, Cronos (a/k/a Saturn) ultimately castrated his father, and the myth goes that Aphrodite was born of the blood and testicles of Uranus that Cronos threw into the sea!

​Uranus is connected to electricity, unfinished business, alchemy, revolution, break-throughs, outer space and ET’s.  The Sabian symbol for the New Moon at 4 degrees Aquarius is “A Hindu Healer”, and this will bring Divine Intervention, Self-assertion and higher perspectives for Spiritual evolution and growth.

​Also during this week, there is an auspicious grouping of asteroids making positive aspects to the New Moon as well, and those are: Asclepius, Psyche, Anubis, and Anteros, all at 11 degrees Pisces. Eleven degrees Pisces represents Spiritual balance within One’s Self.  

​Asclepius was known as the God of Medicine, rejuvenation and was as great Healer.  Psyche represents finding eternal love after hardship and suffering.  Anubis was the Egyptian God of the Dead and Lost Souls.  Anteros was the Avenger of unrequited love and symbolizes Selfless Love.

​The asteroid, Echnoton at 11 degrees of Sagittarius is also making positive aspect to the New Moon.  In 1334 B.C., Egypt, he was the “Lost King”, as he was lost from history for a long time, and controversial due to his visions of change in art and religion.  This energy is the vibration of uncovering the truth.

​The next couple of weeks will flush out truth and clarity about people, places and completion of karmic cycles and old behavior patterns.  We are the new and improved versions of ourselves armed with Spiritual tools that have come at a high cost and sacrifice – redemption is in the air!

​The challenge for society in this dawning of the Aquarian Age is to keep compassion and ethics as the explosive industry of artificial intelligence and robotics make quantum leaps in technology.  Our individual journeys of Spiritual growth beckon us to remember the Human Spirit and although man and machines have a viable connection and use, nothing can replace the inner unfoldments of the Human heart.
